Behind the box that taught India about Chikankari.

Packaging Collaterals
After its Shark Tank India success, House of Chikankari experienced rapid growth and rising visibility. The existing packaging, however, no longer reflected the value or artistry of its handmade products. With the logo and colour palette already fixed, the room for change was small. For most, Chikankari was still seen as “pretty Indian embroidery”, and the brand needed packaging that brought deeper meaning.
We approached the packaging design as a storytelling system that tied every packaging element together. Inspired by the process of Chikankari itself, we used traditional motifs and authentic stitch styles to build artwork that carried both craft and meaning. The result elevated the unboxing experience and helped the brand connect more meaningfully with younger audiences while quietly educating customers about the art behind every piece.
